Biography
Gwendolyn Rose Forrest (BA MA) self-identifies as a black African American global citizen who affirms humanity’s similarities while acknowledging differences. She has worked in the public, private, or non-profit sectors in Detroit, Michigan, Atlanta, Georgia, Portland, Oregon, Chicago, Illinois, Denver, Colorado, San Diego, California, and Fort Worth, Texas. She is a former social worker, civil rights/human rights advocate, economic development administrator, employment/training coordinator, research director, and certified fund-raising executive for colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations. A humanist, feminist, author, and activist, she enjoys writing, line dancing, and yoga.
