New Book, “Everyday Ethics and Equity” Press Release

Ethics to Live By: How to Build Character and Self-Esteem

Billionaires sit on gold-plated toilets while rural Americans, like third world citizens, sit in lots to receive healthcare from Doctors Without Borders. The wealthy buy private islands while inner-city residents cannot afford to buy food. Corporations receive tax breaks yet pay little or no taxes while the Postal Service, an equalizing institution, is in jeopardy because it does not break even. Banks and insurance companies practice disinvestment and rate gouging in minority communities while minority communities subsidize majority communities and crumble, owing to these inequitable policies and practices.

Everyday Ethics and Equity: The Foundation for Character and Self-Esteem eloquently exposes inequities existing between the haves and the have nots.  It also advances the proposition that existence validates an individual’s worth. This is especially relevant during these turbulent times of COVID-19, economic instability, and social unrest.

Written from a cosmic perspective and humanist worldview in easy-to-understand language, this insightful book helps readers to adopt ethical equitable behavior.  It also promotes a race-free, war-free world and encourages self-reflective critical thinking. Poetically it points out:

“As there’s no place underground or in the sky, To reunite with deceased ones after we die, We are obligated while we live on earth, To conscientiously live a life of worth.”
